Billy Bragg - The Bard of Bark

Billy Bragg saw himself as a one-man "Clash." His strong British working-class accent coupled with his percussive electric guitar was all he ever needed to create masterpieces such as "A New England." Perhaps one of my favorite song is "Greetings to the New Brunette."

The beautifully produced track was done by John Porter and the song was included in the album "Talking To The Taxman About Poetry," which has a number of great songs. A surprise collabrator with the credit of "Duane Tremolo" was John Marr of The Smiths.
